About Us
Durham City Transport Ltd is a family run organisation started in 1991 by two partners and is now run by Les Coatman, Managing Director. The company remains to operate as a family run business with further generations now working in all areas of the business.

Our mission is to provide a quality logistics, warehousing and distribution service to all our customers nationwide.
The main office and depot is situated in the Durham area with nearby links to the A1 and A19 giving ease of access to all main transport links, cities and ports nationwide.
A warehouse depot is based near the Scotch Corner area close to the A1 offering a 30,000 square-foot facility providing short and long term storage options to meet all customer needs.
The logistics and distribution service is delivered by a fleet 44 rigid and articulated vehicles ranging from Mercedes, Volvo, MAN and ERF. All vehicles are maintained by the respected dealer ensuring a top class fleet in operation at all times.
Our aim is to be a proactive company monitoring the current industry areas we serve to develop our service and operation model allowing us to grow with the changing and demanding needs of our customers.
